According to kidshealth.org, smoking is one of the worst things kids or adults can do to their bodies. Yet, every single day about 3,900 kids between the ages of 12 and 17 start smoking.
New Jersey just raised the minimum age to buy tobacco to 21, joining California and Hawaii. The new law was signed by Gov. Chris Christie and took affect on Nov. 1. The law includes the sale of all tobacco and electronic tobacco and smoking products.
