Bullying and Cyberbullying

What is Bullying?

Bullying is a repeated aggressive behavior where one person (or group of people) in a position of power deliberately intimidates, abuses or coerces an individual with the intention to hurt that person physically or emotionally. Acts of bullying can be physical or verbal.
Seventy-four percent of eight to eleven year-olds say teasing and bullying happen at their school.
To all the people who were bullied: being different is good! Who wants to be cloned out by the dozens anyway? Stick out and be YOU! Everyone else is taken. :)

What is Cyberbullying?

Cyberbullying is bullying that occurs through digital technology, such as text messages, e-mail, and material posted on social media sites. It can happen 24 hours a day, any place where a child has online access, and it’s especially harmful because it can occur anonymously and be spread quickly to hundreds of bystanders.
